In a homemade spaceship SPACE ME takes the audience on an adventurous journey to the end of the universe and back home again.
The universe operates according to physical laws, laws which also the human body depends on and interacts with. But how? Are the answers beyond our comprehension, or can a dance performance give us a glimpse of the mystery? SPACE ME can be understood as an installation with dance, where the set design, video projections and music function as spatial and bodily components along with the dancers. We are taken into a multidimensional universe where the starry sky can be stretched, enlarged and distorted by the dancers’ bodies.
