Noras søstre is a play based on true stories told by Norwegian women. This play is about what it means to be a woman in the twenty first century in a developed country. Sexualization, undermining, sexual harassment, rape attempt are some of the issues that the sisters of Nora have to face nowadays.
This is a play that makes echo of stories that are hidden in the society, especially those related to violence. What does it mean to be a woman? Which places make her feel safe? What kind of relation she has with men and women? How does she see this society? And how does this society see her?
We would like that this play makes men and women rethink about what we call love, flirting and friendship.
